At 300 DPI, passport size is 413 × 531 pixels. This is the size most print shops expect.
Resize any photo to an exact size in pixels, cm, mm or inches, right in your browser. Your photo is never uploaded, there's no watermark and it's free.
Pick a ready size like passport size or IBPS photo, or type your own. The tool crops the photo to the right shape, so faces never look stretched.
Want photos to print? The Passport Size Photo Maker puts 8 on a 4×6 sheet or 30 on A4, with cut lines.
Pick cm or mm in the unit box and type your size. The tool turns it into pixels using DPI (dots per inch).
Use 300 DPI for photos you will print. If a form asks for pixels, type the pixels directly instead.
| Size | Pixels at 300 DPI |
|---|---|
| 3.5 × 4.5 cm | 413 × 531 px (passport size) |
| 2 × 2.5 cm | 236 × 295 px (stamp size) |
| 3 × 4 cm | 354 × 472 px |
| 4 × 2 cm | 472 × 236 px |
| 2 × 2 in | 600 × 600 px (US visa) |
When the new shape is different from your photo, choose how to handle it.
Crop (keep face) trims the edges and keeps the upper part of the photo, where faces usually are. Crop (centre) trims evenly from all sides.
White border keeps the whole photo and fills the gap with white. Stretch squeezes the photo to fit, which usually looks wrong for faces.
Exam forms usually ask for a size and a KB limit together, like 200 × 230 pixels under 50KB for IBPS.
Type the limit in Max size (KB) and the tool keeps the file just under it. If you only need a smaller file, use the Image Compressor.
Resizing a signature? The Signature Resizer also crops it, whitens the paper and keeps it inside the minimum and maximum KB.
Everything happens in your browser. Your photo, signature or ID never leaves your phone or computer, and nothing is stored.

Upload your photo, tap the Passport 3.5×4.5 cm size, keep Crop (keep face) selected, tap Resize and download. You get a 413 × 531 pixel photo, the standard passport size.
Making a photo smaller keeps it sharp. Making it much bigger than the original can make it blurry, because the tool can't add detail that isn't in the photo.
Yes, 100% free. No signup, no watermark and no limit on how many photos you resize.
Passport size is 3.5 × 4.5 cm, which is 413 × 531 pixels at 300 DPI. Some online forms ask for a different pixel size, so always check the form's instructions.
Choose mm in the unit box, type 35 for width and 45 for height, keep DPI at 300 and tap Resize. 35 × 45 mm is the same as 3.5 × 4.5 cm.
Tap IBPS photo. It sets 200 × 230 pixels and a 50KB limit. Tap Resize and download the JPG.
Use the free Signature Resizer. It crops your signature, makes the paper white and saves a JPG in the exact KB range for SSC, IBPS, UPSC, NEET and RRB.
Yes. Type a number in Max file size (KB). The tool resizes the photo first and then keeps the file just under your KB limit.
Use 300 DPI for passport or stamp size photos you will print. DPI only matters when you type a size in cm, mm or inches. For pixels it isn't used.
No. Crop (keep face) is selected by default, so the photo is trimmed to the new shape instead of being squeezed.
